Clare Appavoo

Since December 2012, Clare Appavoo has been the Executive Director of the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) which advances interconnected, sustainable access to the world's research and to Canada's documentary heritage content. As an innovative leader, Clare ensures that CRKN evolves to meet the needs of members, researchers, and the wider stakeholder community of memory institutions. She has been actively involved in national and international open access initiatives and currently serves as the Chair of the Governing Council of the SCOAP3 initiative, and on the Board of ORCID.
